Over to the lakes, Friday Evening, a night in the Bothy (Caravan), few beers, woke up at 3am for a "tinkle", with a toasty body but a frozen face :-), worth it just to see the stars on a clear dark night....stunning. Eventually up at 5am. Coffee, gear up and out for first light. Saw a few Roes, but nothing presents for a shot, a few signs of reds, scrubbed tree barks etc. So a dry stalk in terms of shooting, but what a morning. Walked onto a Greylag nest, woodpeckers all over the place (Actually saw a Green one), Red squirrels. Absolutely gorgeous morning, just to be at one with Nature.
